Lorain County Candidate Petition Signing Event

Event Details

    Date:
Venue: Lorain Brewing Company (500 Shipyard Wy, Lorain, OH, 44052, US)

Friends of Liberty!

Join the Lorain County Libertarian Party for a meeting on Thursday, January 22, 7 PM. The tentative location should be the Lorain Brewing Company at 500 Shipyard Way, in Lorain. You can enter from either Colorado Ave. or East Erie, US 6, just east of the bascule bridge. Confirmation of that should arrive in a day or two. This meeting is open to the public.

With ballot access returned, we will have a long list of candidates running in the primary in May, many of whom will be on Lorain County ballots.

We have two candidates for Governor, Don Kissick and Travis Vought, and their running mates, James Mills and Christy Orr, respectively. We are looking to have several of our candidates present to maybe speak, and answer questions, etc.

At this meeting, the main thrust is petitions! We need to get enough signatures for all of our candidates and have them submitted by the February 4th deadline! That’s not much time, so this will be important. It’s also critical that because of ballot access laws passed by the Republicans in the Ohio Legislature, our governor candidate must get 3% of the vote in the main election in November for us to continue to have ballot access.

Come help us advance the cause of liberty and freedom! During the mid-terms last November, state-wide about 75% of candidates running as Libertarians *WON* their elections! That is an amazing feat, and proves Libertarians ARE electable. Now let’s get more!

There has never been a better time to get involved and help do what must be done to preserve our basic rights and freedoms!

I hope to see as many of you there as possible! The cause of liberty is becoming more and more important to fight for, and we need your support!
