Libertarian Party of Ohio Condemns Unsanctioned War Against Venezuela
The Libertarian Party of Ohio condemns all unsanctioned use of force against the nation of Venezuela. The United States Constitution vests the power to declare war solely in the United States Congress, not the President.
Any attempt to abduct or detain a foreign head of state on their own soil would constitute an act of war and must not occur without explicit congressional authorization.
