The Libertarian Party of Ohio will host a convention in Dayton, Ohio, from April 24 -April 26, 2026. Each delegate represents the interests of Ohio members during state party business sessions that include bylaws discussions and platform votes. (LPO does not elect Executive Committee at convention.) The eligibility rules come directly from the LPO Constitution and Bylaws.
All applicants must apply before March 26, 2026, which is 30 days before the state convention business session begins. Late applications will reviewed prior to the gavel of business on April 26, 2026,

All members and coalition partners are welcome.
The schedule is being finalized, but the business meeting will be on Sunday and will be free for all members to attend.
Attendees are responsible for arranging and paying for their own travel, lodging, meals, and related expenses while attending the 2026 Ohio Libertarian Convention. The Libertarian Party of Ohio does not cover or reimburse costs for delegates or alternates.
Delegate Eligibility Rules
Applicants must be verified Supporting or Lifetime Members of the Libertarian Party of Ohio who have affirmed the non-aggression pledge and are residents of Ohio in good standing. Only those who meet these requirements qualify for delegate selection under LPO Bylaw 510.
