WHEREAS Fair and equal treatment, respect, and comfort are vital to any successful team and working environment and the importance of each individual to feel safe
AND WHEREAS in working, volunteering, or communicating with the Libertarian Party of Ohio, we strive for the utmost in these areas for our elected members, staff, and affiliates
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Libertarian Party of Ohio reaffirms its commitment to equality of treatment and the highest standard of respect in the political environment and our party regardless of gender identity, age, cultural background, class, disability, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender assignment, faith, language, or employment status.
THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Libertarian Party of Ohio will not tolerate discrimination, bigotry, or harassment at any meeting, event, or communication on the grounds of the same.
This motion was passed unanimously by the Libertarian Party of Ohio Executive Committee on July 31, 2020.
